This is an open call for papers for the Second Annual Global B Corporation Academic Community Roundtable held on October 4, 2017, in Toronto. This year’s theme is “The Role of the Academic Community in Scaling the B Corp Movement.” The event is open to university faculty and students and other researchers conducting research on Certified B Corporations and/or Benefit Corporations.
We are looking for academics and students who have developed publications and studies of B Corporations to present their results at two academic conferences in Asia this year. The first will be held in Taipei, Taiwan, on August 31–September 1, 2017. The second will take place in Beijing, China, in 2018.
The B Corp Wang Dao Center is a research institution jointly supported by Feng Chia University, B Corp Asia, and Chi Rong Foundation. Its objective is to apply academic theory, practical experience, and social engagement to the new business landscape, in order to identify new routes for industry to contribute to the wellbeing of society and the environment.
